I knew we were in for a good 4th of July when I walked into Lemon Bar and saw an Olympic Russell Westbrook Jersey, an NC State Dennis Smith Jr. Jersey, and a back tattoo that read 'Never Forget Family.' Can it get more patriotic? We were fighting for one of the picnic benches under one of the 20 white Truly umbrellas in the open air space, but ended up sitting on a high bench towards the back as it was damn near standing room only. I got us the first round of drinks, a bucket of 5 high noons that was 25. Coming from NYC, I felt like I had just robbed a bank. That's 50 in the city... I didn't realize until I came back that our bench directly bordered the beach. You could see and smell the ocean. I don't know why that tripped me out so much, but I really started appreciating life: Does it get better than being at a casual, borderline trashy, beach bar with the wind blowing lightly on your skin surrounded by people you love while a mediocre DJ mix plays in the background? It was at this point my Big Sis asked if I wanted a Zyn. I'd never had one before, but my nickname in high school was 'Mr. I'll Try Anything Once,' so I popped a 6mg pouch in. I realistically probably wouldn't have, but I saw Tucker Carlson talking about how he takes them when he interviews people and I love this arc he's been on lately. Say what you want about ole Tucky but he's a good interviewer, and interviewing Putin is crrraaaaazzzzyyyyyyyyy. I packed the Zyn high and tight and I totally get the hype tbh. I was LOCKED in right away and felt great. However, after about a minute, my Big Sis was like 'Dang 6mg for your first time is a lot lowkey...' 10 seconds after she said that I began to get a little nauseous and lose control of the wheel. I guarantee if she hadn't have told me that I would have been 100% fine. The power of the human mind is so crazy. Choose wisely. I ended up being okay, but was RIGHT on that line of falling off the deep end. You ever just go too far and feel like you are in a Hunter S. Thompson novel? Yeah, I was looking right at that line. I don't even remember why, but I hit 22 push ups because somebody said I couldn't. DOUBT ME NOW! That helped work the nausea off too. We then ordered some food that consisted of Mozzarella sticks, Chicken Tenders, Fried Banana Pepper Rings, and some fries. This meal saved us. We were collectively starting to go downhill as a group, and it was the perfect bar food to bring us back to life. They should bundle this and have it on the menu as “The Phoenix.” I loved my time here at Lemon Bar and will romanticize it to the day I die, idgaf. Jax beach in general reminds me so much of Hermosa Beach when I was growing up in LA. So much grit, so much character. In closing, no matter what you do, no matter where you go, no matter who you become: Never Forget Family. Ig @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

located right by the shore in Neptune Beach, this iconic spot is known for its refreshing drinks and fun atmosphere. whether you’re unwinding after a long week or catching up with friends, Lemon Bar has something for everyone

What a great place on the beach with a huge outdoor patio to enjoy food and drink. The drinks are reasonably priced, with a huge drink selection menu. The grilled chicken wings were really good, meaty and flavorful. It is hidden behind the motel so it's tough to find, but once you find it you'll be glad you did!

If you find yourself in Neptune Beach the Lemon Bar is a MUST! Make sure you bring your photo ID since it is a 21 and over place, and don't bring your small kids, it's an adult bar...however, it's a great place to grab a bevvy, take in the sun, and enjoy the beach breeze. Be sure to try the Orange Dream with a topper...(I always ask for additional love too) they taste like the old orange push ups (yes, those ice cream treats served in a toilet paper roll but the best on a hot sunny day) these drinks won't let you down. Bushwackers are nice, Bahama Mama's are good too, I just tried the blueberry pie (it was good, but the orange is still the best in my humble opinion). Coconut shrimps are good but I really miss their seared ahi tuna bites (Lemon Bar where'd they go?!) The funnel cake fries are pretty darn fabulous too! Let's just say you won't be disappointed with a visit to this jewel by the beach!

I didn’t try any of the actual food but my pina colada was amazing!! Bar tenders were very nice and always checking in on you. The views are great. Definitely will be back!

This is one of my favorite beach bars. The food is always hot and never over seasoned. The drinks are FIRE ! The service is 10/10 each time ! My favorite spot is definitely in the sand (: ! I also love game nights and their specials ! I recommend this place to everyone

The staff was great! All of them were very attentive and wanted to ensure you had whatever you needed even if it wasn’t their assigned table. The drinks were delicious and so was the food. They came out quickly no matter how busy it was getting. Great place if you want to grab something right off the beach.

Lemon bar is my kind of place when I come to Jacksonville I am all about getting cheap delicious frozen blended drinks on a beach in the sunshine with my friends and family. Well, let me tell you they got you covered there in spades but if you’re also a little little hungry, they got some phenomenal food too. I have experienced this at other bars before where you go there always to get drinks, but I guarantee if you order some of the tacos they have on their menu. You will be pleasantly surprised. It is nothing special. It is not served in a fancy and drizzled with some sort of fancy sauce to make it look fancier and put a garnish on it or none of that you get it in a tray you get it fresh from the oven and it just taste absolutely delicious. So put your shades on put your flip-flops on put some swimsuits on and just keep a casual and have a really fun experience when you go and you may see a bunch of other people there having a similar vibe as you and make new friends and memories.
